Disklabs Collaborates With Top University To Design A New Product

Disklabs, the world’s leading manufacturer and pioneer of re-usable faraday bags who were the first to achieve police accreditation are pleased to announce the joining of forces with Coventry University.

Coventry University is at the forefront of Disklabs choices due to their state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, focus on applied research, approach to innovation and experience with working with industry.

As part of Disklabs drive to develop its creative process and meet client demands, students from Coventry University’s Product Design department were given two design briefs for specialist Faraday products, with successful designs joining Disklabs existing range.

Following months of collaboration, concept meetings and designs, final presentations have yielded a prototype that will now go into development within four weeks.

The latest innovation will feature a secure, tamper-proof locking system and will sit alongside Disklabs range of Faraday bags that block external static electrical fields and signals to protect computers and phones against external hacking, tracking and attacks.
